ARBITRON INC. reported in its SEPTEMBER 2013 RADAR® (Radio’s All Dimension Audience Research) Radio Network Ratings that nearly 180 million Persons 12 and older, or approximately 68% of this demographic, heard one or more network radio commercials in an average week of the survey period.
The study found that Commercials aired on the 45 radio networks measure reached:
* 67.8% of Persons aged 12+ (178,640,000 Persons)
* 70.6% of Persons aged 18-49 (94,607,000 Persons)
* 71.3% of Persons aged 25-54 (89,200,000 Persons)In the Top 25 DMAs (designated market areas):
* 70.4% of Persons aged 12+ (92,512,00 Persons)
* 73.6% of Persons aged 18-49 (50,560,000 Persons)
* 74.4% of Persons aged 25-54 (48,270,000 Persons)
