WCCC Flips To Classic Rock

WCCC Now "Hartford's Classic Rock"

This past weekend, MARLIN BROADCASTING Active Rock WCCC (THE ROCK)/HARTFORD, CT flipped to Classic Rock according to PD MIKE KAROLYI.

KAROLYI told ALL ACCESS, "The station has dropped currents and will be focusing on '60s and '70s-based Classic Rock with artists such as THE BEATLES, THE DOORS and LED ZEPPELIN as well as' 90s-based artists like NIRVANA and SOUNDGARDEN."

KAROLYI also told ALL ACCESS the station will remain positioned as "Rock 106.9 WCCC," but will add the slogan "HARTFORD's Classic Rock."

KAROLYI will stay on as PD and no air staff changes will be made.
