Independent marketing and consulting firm THE SYNDICATE has expanded its radio promotion staff with industry veteran JERRY RUBINO joining ROB WILCOX for its Commercial Alternative department. This expansion will further enhance THE SYNDICATE’s radio promotion division, which also includes the College, Alternative Specialty, Non-Comm/AAA, and Loud Rock formats.
RUBINO boasts over 30 years of credits in the music industry, including a long-standing history of radio promotion for such companies as ROUGH TRADE, CHRYSALIS, BAR/NONE RECORDS and RADIOACTIVE. He also served as producer/programmer for specialty programs at WHTZ/NEW YORK and WLIR/NASSAU-SUFFOLK, NY, and helped build numerous stations at SIRIUS and XM RADIO. WILCOX joined THE SYNDICATE in 2010 after spending several years at WXPN/PHILADELPHIA as a production assistant for the nationally syndicated program World Cafe, and serving as on-air talent for Y-ROCK on XPN.
"Throughout our 15 years in business, we’ve continually worked closely with JERRY," Founding partner JON LANDMAN said "His experience and infinite passion for music is a welcome addition to our team. Together with ROB’s success at Alternative radio, THE SYNDICATE will provide an even stronger service for our clients.”
