FCC Seeks More Comment On National EAS Test

The FCC's Public Safety And Homeland Security Bureau is seeking comment on the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System last NOVEMBER 9th.
The Commission wants input on problems encountered with equipment receiving and processing Header Codes and whether location codes are necessary for a national test. In addition, the request is looking for input on video text crawl information and minimum lengths of time for national tests.
Comments are due OCTOBER 23rd, with replies due NOVEMBER 7th.
