Jai Rio To Mornings At KOGM

DELTA MEDIA Hot AC KOGM (MIX 107-1)/LAFAYETTE, LA names JAI RIO as its new morning host.  Mornings at MIX 107-1 had been manned by KIDD KRADDICK's syndicated show.

RIO comes to LAFAYETTE with major market experience in HOUSTON and DALLAS, as well as KANSAS CITY and several other large markets.

KOGM OM ERIK TOBIAS commented, "It’s really a thrill to have a talent the caliber of JAI join our team on MIX 107-1. He will be a tremendous asset to our programming department and lineup and will have a larger than life presence in the market to get to know our listeners and our community partners."

RIO added, "I am excited to follow a mentor and co-worker in the late KIDD KRADICK. The morning show will be filled with local content, community news and information, and entertainment. It will be a show about ACADIANA and surrounding areas."

JAI RIO will also take on PD duties at Spanish sister station KSLO.  Look for JAI RIO to debut on MIX 107-1 on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th.
