FCC Lets AFA Off The Hook For Studio Rule Fine

The FCC has cancelled a proposed $3,000. fine against AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION for failure to respond fully to a Letter of Inquiry regarding main studio rule violations at KBMP/ENTERPRISE, KS. AFA had timely filed a response but it was incomplete; however, the Commission says that the intention was to comply with the rules and the incomplete response was due to a "mistaken understanding of our requirements."
