In a light day for deal filings at the FCC, RADIO TRAINING NETWORK, INC. has filed to sell FM translator W257BG/STATESBORO, GA to STATESBORO RADIO CO. LLC for $25,000. The application lists GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY noncommercial Variety WVGS (91.9 THE BUZZ)/STATESBORO as the primary station.
In other filings with the FCC, the $85 million deal by which HUBBARD RADIO acquired the SANDUSKY RADIO stations in SEATTLE and PHOENIX has closed. The stations include Adult Standards KIXI-A, Top 40 KQMV, News KKNW-A, AC KRWM and Hot AC KLCK/SEATTLE and Classic Rock KSLX, Active Rock KUPD, Rock KDKB, Oldies KAZG-A and Sports KDUS-A./PHOENIX.
And TOM HODGINS has closed on the sale of FM translator K256BY/LEWISTON, ID to NELLY BROADCASTING, LLC for $20,000.
In a transaction yet to be filed with the Commission, trusteeship of Rock KAUU (THE BLAZE)/MANTI, UT and Modern AC KUDE (THE MIX)/NEPHI-SALT LAKE CITY, placed in SLC DIVERSTITURE TRUST I by MILLCREEK BROADCASTING, and Country KDWY (THE DIAMOND)/DIAMONDVILLE, WY, placed into the same trust by SIMMONS MEDIA GROUP, is being transferred from LARRY PATRICK of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS to JIM BURGOYNE, trustee of another SIMMONS spinoff trust.
