Concord Music Group Strengthens Promotion Staff

CONCORD MUSIC GROUP announced TODAY (9/3) the hiring of two new additions to the promotion department. The team will include newly hired VP/Promotion KAREN DURKOT and Sr. Dir./National Promotion HOWARD FRANK.
DURKOT joins the CONCORD MUSIC GROUP family from ADA Promotion where she served as a Sr. Dir./Triple A Promotion. Her previous experience includes a position at CO5 Country, as well as all format positions at DEF AMERICAN, GEFFEN, HOLLYWOOD and ELEKTRA RECORDS. She is based in NEW YORK.
Based in NASHVILLE, FRANK comes to CONCORD MUSIC GROUP after a two-year stint at SONY/RED ENTERTAINMENT. Prior to that, FRANK worked over 17 years for WARNER MUSIC GROUP. In his new position, FRANK rises from regional to national promotion.
DURKOT and FRANK will be responsible for all-format promotion and will report to CONCORD MUSIC GROUP SVP/Radio and Video Promotion JILL WEINDORF.

Sr. Director/Urban Formats, RICK NUHN, and National Promotion Coordinator and Dance Music Specialist DARNELL GAMBLE, both based in LOS ANGELES, remain in their current positions.
In related news, Sr. Director/National Promotion DAVID EINSTEIN has voluntarily left the company to pursue other interests. Stated WEINDORF, “DAVE EINSTEIN is one of a kind.
