Pete Fisher To Be Awarded 'Inspiration Award'

The GRAND OLE OPRY's VP/GM PETE FISHER will be awarded the Inaugural INSPIRE NASHVILLE "Inspiration Award" on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22nd in NASHVILLE. Country artists BIG & RICH, VINCE GILL and WYNONNA will also perform.

INSPIRE NASHVILLE is an event benefitting the NASHIVLLE-based non-profit POSSIBILIES INC. It will honor and celebrate NASHVILLE and the individuals who make the community what it is.

"PETE, to me, has one of the hardest jobs in the world," said GILL. "As GM of the OPRY, to please the great veterans, the newcomers and everything in between is not easy.  But, he does so with dignity and class every step of the way. PETE makes everyone at the OPRY feel like they are the most important people there."

WYNONNA added, “I am thrilled to be a part of INSPIRE NASHVILLE. Please join me on OCTOBER 22nd to honor my good friend, PETE FISHER, and to help raise funds for POSSIBILITIES so that deserving individuals can experience hope and healing.”
