Bill Press Show Scores Interview With Harry Reid, Gets It To Listeners After Hours

The syndicated BILL PRESS Show scored an exclusive interview with Senate Majority Leader HARRY REID (D-NV) WEDNESDAY afternoon (10/2), and despite not being on the air at the time, PRESS and producer PETER OGBURN were able to get the interview out to the public and to the media right away anyway.

PRESS was the first radio talker to get REID, a central figure in the government shutdown battle, to talk about his comments on CNN WEDNESDAY; the segment, conducted at 4:20p (ET), drew coverage from THE WASHINGTON POST, THE DRUDGE REPORT, THE HILL, POLITICO, ROLL CALL, and THE HUFFINGTON POST, among other outlets.

A clip from the interview was posted on SOUNDCLOUD immediately following the interview, and a link went out on the show's Twitter feed; the full interview aired on the show at 7:10a this morning.
