WESTWOODONE has a busy day coming up on SUNDAY, as it airs four NFL games back-to-back in an unprecedented long day of pro football.
The marathon is the result of the move of the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS-OAKLAND RAIDERS game to an 11:15p (ET) kickoff, necessitated by the OAKLAND A'S playoff game on SATURDAY and the need to convert O.CO COLISEUM from baseball to football by kickoff SUNDAY.
WESTWOOD ONE will air SEATTLE at INDIANAPOLIS at 12:30p (ET), followed by DENVER at DALLAS and HOUSTON at SAN FRANCISCO before ending with the SAN DIEGO-OAKLAND game.
WESTWOODONE Sports EVP/Exec. Producer HOWARD DENEROFF said, “We’re excited to be the first network to ever broadcast a quadrupleheader of NFL games in the same day. We hope our listeners enjoy the unique opportunity to hear wall-to-wall football in one place.”
