New Yorkers know SARA LEE KESSLER for her 18-year stint at WWOR-TV. The accomplished broadcaster is now anchoring on CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOR/NEW YORK and 24/7 News. KESSLER was also part of the ill-fated MERLIN MEDIA News WEMP (FM NEWS)/NEW YORK staff.
KESSLER is heard SUNDAY through THURSDAY nights on the different CLEAR CHANNEL radio platforms. She anchors SUNDAY and TUESDAY overnights on WOR. As for the rest of her weekly schedule, KESSLER handles afternoons or evenings for 24/7 News on iHEARTRADIO. "Story-telling is what I do and what I love, so it's great to be back on-air on a regular basis, anchoring the news in the NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY market," KESSLER told ALL ACCESS.
KESSLER started at WOR and 24/7 in AUGUST. The staff includes some other market heavyweights, including MITCH LEBE, JOE BARTLETT and TERRY SHERIDAN.
"Many people often think of me as a television journalist, but I actually began my career in broadcasting at KLBJ Radio in AUSTIN, TEXAS," KESSLER said.
In addition to her work for FM News, KESSLER has anchoring experience at the RKO Radio Network and WCBS 880.
