Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour; Reported Breakup Ahead?

What a difference a couple of days make.  In an interview with a MILWAUKEE magazine on SUNDAY (10/6), members of the JONAS BROTHERS discussed their upcoming tour and details about finishing up work on "V," their next album and first since leaving longtime home HOLLYWOOD RECORDS.  

Then, earlier today (10/9) as first reported on the website of CCM+E Top 40 WIOQ (Q102)/PHILADELPHIA, came word of a rumored band breakup.  That rumor was confirmed on the station's site this afternoon, when it was revealed that the band has called off the 19-date tour, two days before it was scheduled to start in PHILLY!  

JESSE DERRIS, the spokeman for the band, reported to PEOPLE MAGAZINE that the boys are having differences about the direction that their music should go in.

A check of the band's website, Twitter account and Facebook page found no announcement of the tour cancellation.  Their last tweet, LIVE today #WEDAY http://jb.cta.gs/0mj was posted on TUESDAY (10/8).  

Does this mean the band has officially called it quits?  Watch this space.
