Condolences to family and friends of former U.S. Senator ROD GRAMS, who died WEDNESDAY (10/9) of cancer in CROWN, MN at the age of 65.
GRAMS' LITTLE FALLS RADIO CORPORATION owns Talk KLTF-A, AC KFML, and Country WYRQ (Q92)/LITTLE FALLS, MN, which he and wife CHRISTINE bought in 2004. He was a TV news anchor at KMSP-TV/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL in 1982-92 before being elected to Congress as a Republican in 1992 and then winning election to the Senate, serving a single term in 1995-2001 before being unseated by DFL candidate MARK DAYTON, now the state's Governor. A bid for Congress in 2006 ended in a loss to Rep. JIM OBERSTAR (D-MN).
