OFCOM has granted a license for a new FM in BARROW-ON-FURNESS, UK to ABBEY FM, a partnership of the LOCAL RADIO COMPANY LTD., THE RADIO BUSINESS LTD., and CN GROUP LTD. The station will run 200 watts but may be able to go up to 500 watts depending on transmitter location and directional antenna.
