A very positive report on the upcoming DASH CONFERENCE (10/23-24) in DETROIT, from co-presenter, JACOBS MEDIA President FRED JACOBS who told ALL ACCESS, "DASH registrations have exceeded our goals and continue to come in at a rapid pace. TODAY (10/11) is the last day the original registration fee is valid. It goes up $200 as of TOMORROW.
"The great news about DASH is that our goal of creating a mashup of automotive, advertising, car dealership execs, and radio professionals (broadcast and digital) is being reached. We have 45 speakers and presenters representing brands like FORD, TOYOTA, PANASONIC, PIONEER, and GM, along with execs from ENTERCOM, HUBBARD, GREATER MEDIA and others. Also PANDORA, TUNEIN, AHA. Brands as diverse as SNL KAGAN and J.D. POWER will be part of our agenda, allowing us to do a 360-degrees on "connected cars."
"But the cool thing is that our attendee list is every bit as eclectic as our presenters. We’ll have execs from CANADA, public radio, and yes, record labels in attendance, too. Realizing that music execs will now be joining us at DASH is a reminder that veryone has a stake in the 'connected car' conversation."
JACOBS summarized, "DASH is shaping up to be a conference unlike any that's been put together for radio. We'll here to learn from each other, and it's pretty clear that when you turn to the person sitting next to you on OCTOBER 23rd at the WESTIN, chances are good that he/she is someone you don’t know ... but ought to know."
