What did ALL ACCESS VP/Editor, News-Talk-Sports PERRY MICHAEL SIMON say that stirred up such a reaction at the TALKERS conference in HOLLYWOOD THURSDAY (10/10)?  If you weren't there, you can read what he said in TODAY's edition of his weekly column "The Letter from All Access News-Talk-Sports." 

In the talk, he laid out the facts about how the Talk format has not seen new ideas in decades, and how the absence of radio people from last week's L.A. PODFEST, where several major podcasts drew large, young, enthusiastic crowds, negates all the talk at conventions and in the industry about how everyone's looking for new talent.  They're harsh words, designed not to draw applause but to get the Talk Radio community to think about where they're headed and how to right the ship.
