Gearing Up To Super Bowl With Series Of Concerts Around NYC

VH1 and the NFL are setting up a SUPER BOWL BLITZ with six concerts in six nights in the NEW YORK CITY metropolitan area. The artist lineups have not been announced yet, but some particulars have been.
Some of music's biggest names will converge on the five boroughs and NJ for the six separate shows. It begins on MONDAY, JANUARY 27th in QUEENS. On TUESDAY, JANUARY 28th, the concert lights up the BRONX. WEDNESDAY, the focus is on BROOKLYN, while fans can sing along in MANHATTAN THURSDAY. STATEN ISLAND hosts the concert FRIDAY, JANUARY 31st, and NEW JERSEY performs the anchor leg of the "BLITZ" SATURDAY.
The shows are set for rain/snow or shine, with tickets not for sale. Instead, they are private performances with a limited number of seats available via TWITTER.
SUPER BOWL XLVIII is FEBRUARY 2nd at METLIFE STADIUM in EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ.
