The 44th annual GMA DOVE AWARDS were held last night (10/15) in NASHVILLE, and the list of winners is as heralded as the storied statuettes themselves.
MATT REDMAN took home six DOVES for the single "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)," including selection as song of the year in several different categories.
TOBYMAC was named Artist Of The Year and gave a performance of "Eye On It" surrounded by full drum regalia and additional pomp & circumstance, winning a total of four awards.
JASON CRABB was also honored with four DOVES, while TASHA COBBS garnered three, and TAMELA MANN & CHRIS TOMLIN claimed two each.
FOR KING & COUNTRY was New Artist Of The Year, while ED CASH won the DOVE for Producer Of The Year and COURAGEOUS won in the Inspirational Film Of The Year category.
The DOVES will air on the UP NETWORK on MONDAY (10/21) at 7p (ET). Congratulations to the GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION for a celebrated evening of praise and worship and a first class production as the DOVE AWARDS returned home to NASHVILLE after a two year hiatus in ATLANTA.
