Don Geronimo Says Goodbye To KHTK Listeners

DON GERONIMO returned to the air TODAY (10/16) on CBS RADIO Sports KHTK-A (SPORTS 1140)/SACRAMENTO for the first time since his show was abruptly pulled from the schedule on OCTOBER 4th, but only to say farewell to his KHTK listeners.

GERONIMO, expressing his gratitude to the local audience and love for the area, said that while the station had decided to go in an all-Sports direction and he is leaving SACRAMENTO, he would be doing a new project with CBS in the near future and that he would announce his next move on TWITTER at @dongeronimoshow.  He joined KHTK in 2010 after a hiatus that followed his departure in APRIL 2008 from the syndicated DON AND MIKE SHOW, of which KHTK was a longtime affiliate.

Meanwhile, GERONIMO's producer LITTLE JOE PITTMAN posted on FACEBOOK that he has been asked to stay with KHTK, where he has worked for several years, producing the RISE GUYS morning show before joining GERONIMO's show.
