The Nominees Are...
The ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME released its 2014 list of nominees on WEDNESDAY (10/17), and the list of 16 included NIRVANA, THE REPLACEMENTS, PETER GABRIEL, HALL AND OATES, KISS, N.W.A., YES, THE ZOMBIES, LINDA RONSTADT, LL COOL J, CHIC, DEEP PURPLE, CAT STEVENS, THE METERS, LINK WRAY, and the PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND.
A fan vote will be open through DECEMBER 10th online via the Hall website, ROLLING STONE, and USA TODAY, with the top five comprising a "fans' ballot" included in the tabulation along with votes by professionals and previous inductees. The induction ceremony will be held in NEW YORK in APRIL.
