  GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS has opened GALAXY SPORTS MARKETING to work on marketing and selling ads for the sports franchises GALAXY stations air in the SYRACUSE and UTICA markets.
  
  SYRACUSE media sales veteran KEN ELANDER has been named GM of the new venture. GALAXY stations are the flagships for SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY sports and also air SYRACUSE CRUNCH and UTICA COMETS minor league hockey and UTICA COLLEGE sports and are affiliates of the BUFFALO BILLS and NEW YORK GIANTS radio networks.
