KAGAN RESEARCH's latest study predicts radio revenue growth of 1.8% for 2006, with growth leveling off to average 3-4% through 2011, when the industry could be worth about $25 billion. The report, RADIO FINANCIAL DATABOOK (7th Edition), calls the industry's fundamentals "strong" and notes that the advent of HD RADIO and other new technologies will have a positive impact on the industry (although not with an immediate impact on revenue; HD revenie is expected to reach $1.6 billion by 2011).
