ISSAC GREEN has been named SVP of A&R for COLUMBIA RECORDS. GREEN, with COLUMBIA since 2008, previously had been VP of A&R. He'll continue to be based in NEW YORK, and report to President ASHLEY NEWTON. As VP of A&R, GREEN has signed artists like PASSION PIT, FOSTER THE PEOPLE, and MADEON.
GREEN said, "I'm extremely appreciative of ROB STRINGER and ASHLEY NEWTON for their unwavering support and mentorship. COLUMBIA is my home. I live and breathe for my artists and, luckily, so does every member of our great staff."
NEWTON said, "ISAAC has really defined himself as an A&R executive of great acumen and
style. His outstanding COLUMBIA signings have been extremely impactful for the label and his new expanded role is both an exciting challenge and well deserved."In his new role, GREEN will continue to search for and develop talent for both COLUMBIA RECORDS and his independent label STARTIME INTERNATIONAL, which is now an imprint under COLUMBIA.
