Jim Mahoney, Darius Van Arman Join SoundExchange Board

New Board Members

ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT MUSIC (A2IM) VP JIM MAHONEY and SECRETLY LABEL GROUP co-owner/founder DARIUS VAN ARMAN have been appointed to the Board of Directors of SOUNDEXCHANGE.  The new appointees replace A2IM President RICH BENGLOFF and TOOLSHED CEO DICK HUEY on the board.

SOUNDEXCHANGE President and CEO MICHAEL HUPPE said, "I am pleased to welcome both DARIUS and JIM to the SOUNDEXCHANGE Board of Directors. Their  expertise will be an invaluable addition to our current members, and I am confident they will work to strengthen SOUNDEXCHANGE's mission to support, protect and propel the music industry forward in this exciting time of change and growth in the digital music market.  I'd also like to sincerely thank RICH BENGLOFF and DICK HUEY for their outstanding service on the SOUNDEXCHANGE board, and dedication to the recorded music industry."
