Revo Superconnect Brings FM, Wireless To Tabletops

Not only is there a battle for the dashboard between terrestrial radio and wireless rivals, hardware manufacturers are now creating a new front -- the battle for the tabletop. RAIN reports that Scottish audio device company REVO will soon come out with the SUPERCONNECT, it is a real tabletop radio that pairs an FM tuner (accommodating DAB and DAB+) with WiFi streaming.

The new toy will also have SPOTIFY CONNECT, a wireless flinging technology similar to GOOGLE’s CHROMECAST. It is designed for digital speaker systems to receive a SPOTIFY stream playing on a smartphone. In addition, the REVO SUPERCONNECT contains an on-screen joystick controller that makes it easier to explore the seemingly unlimited universe of radio webcasts.
