Clear Channel Names Will Leaverton, Brice Kornegay As VPs Of Political Strategy

Seasonal political operatives WILL LEAVERTON and BRICE KORNEGAY have been hired by CLEAR CHANNEL as VPs of Political Strategy. Their appointments begin immediately.  LEAVERTON and KORNEGAY will report to NATHAN DASCHLE, EVP/Political Strategy, and will be based in WASHINGTON, DC.

LEAVERTON joins CLEAR CHANNEL from the BILL THOMPSON mayoral campaign in NEW YORK, in which, as Field Director, he led a team that handled all grassroots efforts.  KORNEGAY joins CLEAR CHANNEL from BK STRATEGIES, where he served as President since last year.  In the new positions, EAVERTON and KORNEGAY will develop and executive "Go To Market" strategies for various CLEAR CHANNEL outlets and platforms in the political marketplace.

CLEAR CHANNEL's Political Strategy team works with political and issue advertisers and agencies to develop ad programs on CLEAR CHANNEL platforms (NET NEWS 6/17).
