Plans are in the works for NORTHWEST PUBLIC RADIO to provide bilingual coverage of YAKIMA VALLEY in WASHINGTON STATE, as part of a deal with NORTHWEST COMMUNITIES EDUCATION CENTER Spanish Variety KDNA.
The YAKIMA HERALD reports that NWPR and KDNA will hire one bilingual reporter next year who will translate and share the stories. A mobile app is being designed to help with the arrangement between the outlets.
