KCRW/LA's Douridas Pleads No Contest To Drug Charge

Noncommercial AAA KCRW/SANTA MONICA-LOS ANGELES host and HOLLYWOOD soundtrack consultant CHRIS DOURIDAS has entered a no contest plea to a charge of cocaine possession.

Prosecutors earlier ended their investigation of a JANUARY 6 incident in which DOURIDAS was accused of drugging and attempted kidnapping of a 14 year old girl at SANTA MONICA's CIRCLE BAR with no charges other than the drug count. Sentencing is scheduled for AUGUST; DOURIDAS' attorney CHRISTOPHER CHANEY says that his client will likely be sent to a drug education program which will lead to charges being dismissed.
