CBS RADIO Sports WFNZ-A (THE FAN)/CHARLOTTE has revamped its lineup, and missing is 10a-noon (ET) host BRETT JENSEN, who has exited.
JENSEN tweeted MONDAY (10/21), "It's with profound sadness I say Friday was my last show for the foreseeable future due to budget cuts at CBS Radio in CLT. It's been 3 of the best professional years of my life. Thanks for listening, making it No. 1 in my time slot on several occasions & helping it be named "Favorite Sports Show In CLT." I still may be w/ WFNZ in some capacity going forward. Thx for listening & your support. I just want to reiterate that it was due to budget cuts. Many hands were tied and had no choice. Thanks for the outpouring support."
The new lineup retains the rest of the station's hosts, keeping CHRIS MCCLAIN and JIM CELAINIA's "THE MAC ATTACK" 6-10a (ET), expanding FRANK GARCIA's midday show to 10a-2p, and spreading TAYLOR ZARZOUR and MARC JAMES' "THE DRIVE" to five hours as well, 2-7p.
