WEZN Names 'Big Jim' Murray For Mornings

CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Hot AC WEZN (STAR 99.9)/BRIDGEPORT, CT announces the addition of "BIG JIM" MURRAY for mornings.  He joins current morning host ANNA ZAP from 5:30-10a, and replaces TAD LEMIRE who recently left for mornings at KRAV (MIX 96)/TULSA.

BIG JIM joins STAR 99.9 from WZGC/ATLANTA where he hosted a Sports-Talk show.  The move reunites MURRAY with STAR 99.9 OM/Digital Dir. KEITH DAKIN who worked with him at now defunct WFNX/BOSTON.

According to WEZN OM/Digital Director KEITH DAKIN, "A nationwide search led us to someone I always thought could be a superstar.  We are extremely excited to have a genuine, relatable and compelling show on STAR 99.9 in the morning."

BIG JIM added, "While I've enjoyed my experience in Sports-Talk, I've missed working in music tremendously and I look forward to working with ANNA ZAP, winning over a brand new audience, cleaning snow off of my car, being a part of a great team under GM KRISTIN OKESSON, and working under the best (and loudest) programmer I've ever had the pleasure of working for; KEITH DAKIN."
