Longtime Yankees Broadcaster John Sterling To Call First Ever 'Kitten Bowl'

Iconic, if not often imitated, NEW YORK YANKEES radio voice JOHN STERLING will lead his delivery to the first-ever KITTEN BOWL. It will air on the HALLMARK CHANNEL USA during the SUPER BOWL. KITTEN BOWL will be pitted against the lavish BRUNO MARS mini-concert at halftime of the big game.

The HALLMARK CHANNEL announced on their FACEBOOK page today that HOWARD STERN's wife, BETH STERN, a longtime animal rights advocate, will emcee the event. STERLING will handle the "play-by-play." We'll have to wait and see if STERLING alters his signature call, "It is high, it is far, it is furry!"

As FACEBOOK states, "Be here for the paw-to-paw action LIVE from Kitten Stadium."

SUPER BOWL and KITTEN BOWL take place FEBRUARY 2nd at METLIFE STADIUM.
