Don Geronimo Rejoins WJFK For Evenings

DON GERONIMO is heading back to CBS RADIO Sports WJFK (106.7 THE FAN)/WASHINGTON for weekday evenings 7-10p (ET) and SATURDAY mornings 9a-noon starting TOMORROW. The station announced his hiring this afternoon on LAVAR ARRINGTON and CHAD DUKES' show after running promos all day about a "major announcement," asking "Who says you can't go home again?"  GERONIMO, who joined ARRINGTON and DUKES from his SACRAMENTO home, will also be part of the station's SUNDAY football coverage.

GERONIMO co-hosted "THE DON AND MIKE SHOW" afternoons with MIKE O'MEARA on the station and in syndication through WESTWOOD ONE from 1991 through APRIL 2008; most recently, he hosted middays at sister Sports KHTK-A (SPORTS 1140)/SACRAMENTO until OCTOBER 3rd (NET NEWS, 10/7).  GERONIMO also worked in the D.C. market at then-Top 40 WAVA (with O'MEARA) in 1985-91, and, earlier, at then-Top 40 WPGC.
