Deserved recognition
For decades, GENE SHAY, host of the folk show at UNIVERSITY Of PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN, has been PHILADELPHIA's biggest champion of folk music. From BOB DYLAN to BONNIE RAITT, he has been introducing folk music to PHILADELPHIA audiences for over 50 years!
This week, SHAY is being recognized for his contributions as he's inducted into the PHILADELPHIA MUSIC WALK OF FAME.
