FCC Proposes Fines Against Unauthorized Florida FM, Texas Translator, Colorado Cluster

The FCC has proposed a $15,000 fine against JUAN R. NIEVES, JR. for the operation of an unlicensed radio station on 97.7 FM in SUMMERFIELD, FL. Also hit with a proposed $8,000 fine was IGLESIA CRISTIANA EBENEZER, INC. for operating FM translator K295BF/GREENVILLE, TX at a location other than its licensed facility for 17 months after being turned down for an STA to operate there. And FOUR CORNERS BROADCASTING, LLC has been slapped with a proposed $25,000 fine for operating three of its stations' STLs in the DURANGO, CO market from an unauthorized location (the cluster's DURANGO studios).
