MELISSA CARBONE, who spent 10 years as CLEAR CHANNEL/LOS ANGELES GSM (NET NEWS 4/12/10), had an historic appearance on ABC-TV's "Shark Tank" OCTOBER 25th. CARBONE, started her own entertainment company that produces live horror attractions. Her pitch included several of her scariest "staffers." She sought $2 million for 10% in the business.
After three sharks passed, DAYMOND JOHN offered CARBONE the $2 million, but with 40% percent ownership. As she countered at 20%, MARK CUBAN circling in the water, pounced, "I'll take that offer. Done." It becomes the largest deal in SHARK TANK history.
Earlier this month, CUBAN balked when R DUB sought a radio syndication sponsorship deal.
