The WORLD SERIES might wrap up tomorrow night (10/30) in BOSTON, as the RED SOX lead ST. LOUIS 3-2. No matter who wins, CASH MONEY/REPUBLIC singer/songwriter (and 4X Platinum artist) KEVIN RUDOLF is a happy man. His single, "Here's To Us" (co-written with LARRY NACHT), has been chosen by the MLB Network, major league baseball’s 24/7 cable TV channel - as the theme song for the network's promos, airing during the series and into the off-season, leading up to the MPL Network's fifth anniversary on JANUARY 1st, 2014.
The lyrics to the song mesh perfectly in the :60 promo, which honors the on-field celebrations, dugout rituals, rally cheers and fan reactions from the 2013 MLB season. The fast-paced clip features all 30 MLB clubs and some of the biggest names in baseball -- including MIGUEL CABRERA, DAVID ORTIZ, YADIER MOLINA, ANDREW MCCUTCHEN and HANLEY RAMIREZ.
"This promo is special because we built it around the song and its upbeat rhythm and inspirational lyrics, which we feel celebrate all that took place in Major League Baseball this year," said MARY BECK, SVP/Marketing and On-Air Promotions for the MLB Network.
RUDOLF added, "I’m honored to become a part of AMERICA’s historical favorite pastime and to share the feel good vibe of this song with baseball fans across the country. I hope this song ignites special, feel good memories for those that hear it." Check it out here.
