Price For Armada-Radio Plus Wisconsin-Michigan Deal: $1.9 Million

The price for the previously-announced sale by ARMADA MEDIA - MENOMINEE, INC. of Country WLST (CAT COUNTRY 95.1) and Sports WMAM-A (ESPN 570)/MARINETTE, WI; AC WSFQ (HOTS 96)/PESHTIGO, WI; and Oldies WHYB (HOMETOWN RADIO 103.7 FM) and Talk WAGN-A/MENOMINEE, MI to CHRISTOPHER A. BERNIER's RADIO PLUS BAY CITIES, LLC is $1.9 million, according to the contract filed with the formal paperwork for the deal at the FCC. BERNIER is a 6% owner and officer/director of ARMADA.
In other filings with the FCC, PRESTON W. SMALL is selling Adult Standards WLRR/MILLEDGEVILLE, GA to STARSTATION RADIO, LLC. for $93,600.
PATHWAY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, INC. is selling Urban Inspirational WSSG-A/GOLDSBORO, NC to CURTIS MEDIA's EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC for $60,000.
BOULDER BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Hot AC KMTZ (MOUNTAIN 107.7)/THREE FORKS-BOZEMAN, MT to SHEILA CALLAHAN & FRIENDS, INC. for $285,000 including assumption of an $85,000 promissory note and issuance of a new $150,000 promissory note. The buyer has been operating the station under an LMA since JUNE 2011.
AM RADIO SUBSIDIARY LLC is transferring Oldies WSME-A/CAMP LEJEUNE, NC to B & M BROADCASTING LLC in a transaction that the licensee says amounts to a name change and the introduction of a new 50% partner, with Managing Member ASHLEY MOSELEY joined by HARRY BROWN.
In a deal announced in AUGUST (NET NEWS 8/5) but only filed now, BOSTON UNIVERSITY is selling noncommercial News-Talk WBUR-A/WEST YARMOUTH, MA (CAPE COD), a repeater of its WBUR/BOSTON, to LANGER BROADCASTING for $175,000. LANGER will flip the station to Portuguese-language programming similar to its WSRO-A/ASHLAND-BOSTON.
And REACH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator W251BF/PUNTA GORDA, FL due to lightning damage.
Also, CALVARY CHAPEL AURORA has closed on its purchase of KXCL/ROCK CREEK PARK, CO from UNITED STATES CP, LLC for $400,000 JODY MCCOY of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP served as exclusive broker representing the seller in the transaction.
