ALL ACCESS sends condolences out to VOX COMMUNICATIONS Hot AC WEZF (STAR 92.9)/BURLINGTON PD JENNIFER FOXX on the loss of her father FREDERICK FRANCIS BOWLES who passed away on SATURDAY (10/26).

JENNIFER FOXX tells ALL ACCESS, "Dad was a pretty amazing guy, really, in his day.  He was a musician and went under the name CHUCK OWENS.  He played all along the east coast, and through the south with his band, "CHUCK OWENS AND THE COUNTRY STYLERS."  Solo, he sang at the GRAND OL' OPRY once... just days before he left for the Philappines with the ARMY.  With his band, they played live radio shows all over the country.  Had never really thought about it years ago, but yes, radio IS in my blood!"
