After two decades, EDDIE SANTIAGO hangs up the headphones and says thanks to radio.
"I had a good run thanks to so many radio greats," he said. "CADILLAC JACK (I learned so much at JAM'N 94.5/BOSTON. I used his aircheck notes to give myself additional airchecks throughout my entire career), RUSS ALLEN (for giving me my first full-time on-air shift at one of the country's greatest radio stations 102 JAMZ/ORLANDO), JERRY MCKENNA at HOT 106/Providence (I would've worked there forever if JERRY had never left. He is a great coach), our consultant STEVE SMITH (it was after speaking with him that I knew I could win anywhere I'd work ... and I did. He's amazing)!
"Also at HOT 106, TONY BRISTOL (he is the true definition of radio) and DJ BUCK at HOT 106 and HOT 93.7/HARTFORD (one of the greatest people in the world ... I'd work for him at a fast food restaurant and we'd win), STEVIE DEMANN (my second stop at 102 JAMZ/ORLANDO), (he knows how to make a station sound great. He's a radio genius) and MARK MCCRAY at X-102.3/WEST PALM BEACH and 97.9 THE BEAT/DALLAS (words cannot express how I feel about him. Anyone who has had the chance to work with MARK knows exactly what I'm talking about. He's a jock's dream PD)!
"Thank you all so much for making it easy to win and making radio the greatest job in the world!!"
