WGN's Steve Dale Hosts Show While Trapped In Elevator

STEVE DALE was unable to be in the studio for this week's edition of "STEVE DALE'S PET WORLD" on TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO, but he did the show anyway ... from an elevator in his apartment building, in which he was stuck SUNDAY morning.

ROBERTFEDER.COM reports that DALE hosted the whole 30-minute show on his cellphone while trapped in the elevator while "SUNDAY SPIN" host RICK PEARSON and engineer BOB FERGUSON helped out in the WGN studio.

"I've never missed a shift, and I've never been late to a shift," DALE told DNAINFO.COM. "It all worked out. You could tell I was on the phone, but other than that, it was a pretty normal show."
