Word on the street is that the deal for former WARNER MUSIC GROUP topper LYOR COHEN's new label, "300," will be a distribution deal with ATLANTIC RECORDS.
300, so named for the 300 SPARTANS battle against the PERSIANS -- depicted in the movie "300" starring GERARD BUTLER -- even has GOOGLE tossing in $5 million as an investment partner.
COHEN will be joined by former WB Pres. TODD MOSCOWITZ and WB EVP KEVIN LILES. They'd all worked together at ISLAND DEF JAM.
Meanwhile, ALL ACCESS hears that departing RCA SVP/Rock Promotion of 15 years, BILL BURRS, could soon be announced as well in a key role at 300. Stand by!
