TRAFFIC.COM second quarter 2006 revenue rose 18.4% to $14.4 million, with ad revenue up 12.1% to $12.5 million and traffic data service revenue nearly doubled to $1.9 million. The company's net loss narrowed from $8.9 to $4.7 million ($2.80 to 23 cents/share).
The company also announced the addition of 10 new markets for its service, ALBANY, BIRMINGHAM, GREENSBORO, INDIANAPOLIS, LOUISVILLE, NASHVILLE, NEW ORLEANS, RALEIGH-DURHAM, TULSA, and TUCSON. The additions bring the total number of markets served to 50.
