Betsy Smittle, Sister Of Garth Brooks, Passes

ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to GARTH BROOKS and his family, following the passing of his half-sister, BETSY SMITTLE, in OKLAHOMA SATURDAY (11/2). She was 60.

SMITTLE was a member of BROOKS’ band Stillwater, playing bass and handling backup vocals for most of his run in the early 90’s. That included appearances on his albums and TV specials.

She released a solo album in 1994 titled, “Rough Around The Edges.”
