BOSTON SCHOOLYARD INITIATIVE Exec. Dir. MYRNA JOHNSON has been named Exec. Dir. of IOWA PUBLIC RADIO, effective JANUARY 27th.  JOHNSON, who fills the position vacated when MARY GRACE HERRINGTON was fired in APRIL, served eight years as a Government Relations Associate at NPR and was on the board at noncommercial KUNC/GREELEY, CO.

Chair of the search committee DOUGLAS WEIR said, “After an extensive search process that began in APRIL we are pleased MYRNA has agreed to join us on JANUARY 27th, 2014.
