KLBJ Kicks Off Annual 'Operation Phone Home'

EMMIS Talk KLBJ-A-K259AJ/AUSTIN is holding its 11th annual Operation Call Home drive to collect donations to buy phone cards for soldiers from FORT HOOD and CAMP MABRY deployed in AFGHANISTAN this holiday season.

The station's local lineup will be broadcasting live from LAMB'S TIRE AND AUTOMOTIVE on MONDAY (11/11), VETERANS DAY, between 5:30a and 7p (CT).  Donations will be accepted through NOVEMBER 17th at LAMB'S locations and online; last year, the event raised over $22,000.
