Following this morning’s announcement that MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO/LOS ANGELES morning personality SHAWN PARR will join CUMULUS MEDIA for its launch of “NASH NIGHTS LIVE” in JANUARY, 2014 (NET NEWS 11/11), KKGO owner SAUL LEVINE tells ALL ACCESS the search already is on for a new morning show.
“We now have the opportunity to find one of the greatest talents possible for Country radio in LOS ANGELES,” said LEVINE. “This will be a nationwide search for someone with a proven track record; we’re swinging for the bleachers on this one.”
KKGO would appreciate no calls; instead send resume and aircheck material MP3 to Station Manager MICHAEL LEVINE here.
PARR joined KKGO at its inception in 2007. He previously handled middays and afternoons during two stints with EMMIS Country KZLA/LOS ANGELES between 1993-2006; the station flipped formats in AUGUST of 2006.
