Kix Brooks to Make Acting Debut in Upcoming Western Film

PREMIERE RADIO’s “AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN” host and ARISTA NASHVILLE artist KIX BROOKS will take on his first lead acting role in the upcoming western “Ambush at Dark Canyon,” which also marks the acting debut of STONEY CREEK’s RANDY HOUSER.

The movie is now available via ON DEMAND. It will be in retail outlets WALMART and SAM’S CLUB on TUESDAY, JANUARY 14^th, and all other retailers on TUESDAY, MARCH 11^th. WALMART will also release the “Ambush at Dark Canyon” soundtrack, which was produced by BROOKS and features a collaboration with HOUSER.

KIX also serves as Executive Producer on a new holiday film called “A Country CHRISTMAS,” which features appearances by SHOW-DOG UNIVERSAL’s TRACE ADKINS and BIG MACHINE’s RASCAL FLATTS member JAY DEMARCUS. The DVD will be available at all retail outlets TOMORROW (11/12).
