TRUTH BROADCASTING Talk WEGO-A (AM 980 THE EAGLE)/GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM host BILL FLYNN is running for the U.S. Senate, reports the WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL.
FLYNN, who announced the run at an event in his hometown of KERNERSVILLE on SUNDAY (11/10), will run for the Republican nomination to oppose incumbent Sen. KAY HAGAN (D-NC). Four other candidates have thus far announced their runs for the nomination. FLYNN ran an unsuccessful campaign for Congress last year, losing to incumbent Rep. HOWARD COBLE (D-NC).
