CBS RADIO Talk WPHT-A/PHILADELPHIA is celebrating the 57th Anniversary of SID MARK's weekly FRANK SINATRA radio show with a special sold-out event TONIGHT (11/15) at GALDO'S in PHILADELPHIA. BOBBY RYDELL and the CITY RHYTHM ORCHESTRA will perform at the show.
SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD said, “SID is not only a PHILADELPHIA treasure, but a national treasure as well. His legendary voice has insured that another legendary voice has remained quite legendary. We are honored to have him as a member of our team at WPHT.”
MARK added, “I’ve loved every 11,856 hrs and 118,856 selections during the 2,964 weekends on the air with FRANCIS ALBERT SINATRA."
MARK hosted SINATRA shows -- "FRIDAY WITH FRANK" and "SUNDAY WITH SINATRA" -- starting in 1957 at then-WHAT-F/PHILADELPHIA (later WWDB, now WRDW). He now hosts the local "SUNDAY WITH SINATRA" (9a-1p (ET)) on WPHT and the syndicated "SOUNDS OF SINATRA."
